A. Upon receipt, a citation alleging a violation of any section of this chapter, the violation fine may be paid at Lee County Animal Control, provided that the said amount is paid within ten (10) days of the date the citation was issued.
B. After the ten (10) day period to pay the fines had expired, the citation shall be immediately turned over to the Lee County States Attorney for prosecution and the defendant shall be required to appear in court on the date provided on the citation. (Ord. 07-22-001, 7-21-2022)
