Axle Loads/Gross Weight Exceeding Sixteen Thousand/Seventy Three Thousand Two Hundred Eighty Pounds: On the following County highways, no person shall operate any vehicle having an axle load in excess of sixteen thousand (16,000) pounds and/or having a gross weight in excess of seventy three thousand two hundred eighty (73,280) pounds on bituminous surfaced County highways, except when the limits will be reduced in accordance with subsection 6-1-2A of this title:
