§ 917.06 REMOVAL OF GARDEN TRASH AND TREE TRIMMINGS.
   (A)   Single-family residences, multiple-family residences and commercial establishments shall place yard waste out for collection in accordance with the following requirements:
      (1)   All YARD WASTE, defined as grass clippings, weeds and hedge trimmings, leaves, small brush and branches (which must be bundled with cotton twine not over four feet in length and 75 pounds in weight), house plants or garden debris (no large tree stumps or branches), must be placed in adequate bags.
      (2)   The Contractor may solicit residents directly on the rental of a 90 gallon yard waste cart for a flat monthly fee.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to place or cause to be placed any yard waste or tree trimmings at the curbside, right-of-way or street edge except in accordance with the procedures set forth in divisions (A)(1) and (A)(2). Yard waste that is unlawfully placed at the curbside shall be removed by the direction of the Director of Service and the special service charges will be used and billed to the owner or tenant where such illegal accumulations existed.
   (C)   This section shall not be interpreted to include leaves left at the curb for fall leaf pickup and removal.
