ORDINANCE NO. 8436
AN ORDINANCE ENACTING AND ADOPTING A SUPPLEMENTED AND REFORMATTED CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF LEBANON, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed a supplemented and reformatted Code of Ordinances of the City of Lebanon, copyright 2001, which contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature included in and enacted since the prior codification and supplements, thereto, through Ordinance No. 8291, passed 8-28-01, and State legislation current through 5-7-01; and
   WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
   WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council of the City of Lebanon to accept these updated sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio; and
   WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the municipality and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the municipality that this ordinance take effect at an early date.
   NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LEBANON, OHIO:
   SECTION 1. That the supplemented and reformatted Code of Ordinances of the City of Lebanon, Ohio, under copyright 2001 and containing local legislation current through Ordinance No. 8291, passed 8-28-01 and State legislation current through 5-7-01, as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.
   SECTION 2. Such supplemented and reformatted Code of Ordinances shall be deemed published as of the date of its adoption and approval by this Council and the Clerk is hereby authorized and ordered to file a copy of the said Code in the Office of the Clerk.
   SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, morals and welfare of the City of Lebanon, and shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
