(A) Remote reading devices must be installed on all existing water meters. The device shall be considered part of the water meter servicing the property and shall not be removed or altered except by the Utility Department.
(B) If the consumer or property owner refuses to grant access to the Utility Department to install a remote reading device, the water to the property may be shut off.
