§ 94.139 TIRE WIDTH DEFINED.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   TIRE WIDTH. When applied to pneumatic tires, the diameter of the cross-section of the tires as customarily measured and rated by the manufacturers of motor vehicles and tires.
