(A) That for the purposes of enforcement within the corporate limits of the city, any violation of the provisions of this chapter, Zoning and Planning, excluding Article XI, Signs and Billboards, is hereby classified as a civil offense pursuant to KRS 65.8808 and nothing contained herein or in § 39.01 et seq. shall prohibit the enforcement or prosecution of this chapter by any other means authorized by law. Violation of Article XI, Signs and Billboards shall be enforceable pursuant to Article III of the Zoning and Planning regulations and shall not be considered a civil offense.
(B) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) if the violation is not contested and not less than twenty dollars ($20.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) if the violation is contested, for each offense. Each day's continued violation shall constitute a separate violation.
