(A) An application shall be submitted to the Code Official for the following activities, which shall not commence until a permit has been issued in accordance with the Kentucky Building Code:
(1) Construction or alteration of a building;
(2) Construction or change of occupancy as prescribed by the Kentucky Building Code;
(3) The installation or alteration of equipment as required by the Kentucky Building Code;
(4) Demolition of any building.
(B) An application for a permit shall be submitted to the Code Official of the City of Lawrenceburg, and shall be accompanied by the required fee, as set forth herein.
(C) Ordinary repairs will not require a permit fee, however, contractors doing repair work within the city shall be required to obtain necessary business licenses.
