§ 30.25 CITY ATTORNEY.
   (A)   [Intentionally omitted]
   (B)   The City Attorney shall be a graduate of a law school accredited by the American Bar Association, a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, and a practicing attorney.
   (C)   The City Attorney shall attend the meetings of the City Council and advise the elected, executive, and legislative branches of the city government, and the non-elected city officers, relative to the city's legal matters.
   (D)   The compensation for this office shall be as set by Council.
   (E)   The City Attorney shall receive those benefits as set by Council.
   (F)   The participation of the City Attorney in the Municipal Attorneys' Association of Kentucky is encouraged and the city shall pay the membership dues and the expenses for attending seminars and meetings.
   (G)   The oath of office to be executed by the City Attorney shall be that set forth in Section 228 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
