§ 35.11 BURIALS.
   (A)   All burials shall be performed by or at the direction of the sexton.
   (B)   No animals may be buried in the cemetery.
   (C)   All caskets shall be placed in metal or concrete outer burial containers which shall be approved by the sexton, or his or her designee. All cremated remains, whether placed in graves or columbarium niches, shall be placed in containers approved by the sexton or his or her designee.
   (D)   The fee for opening and closing a grave for a casket and vault shall be:
      (1)   To persons residing in the city or persons owning real property within the city: Eight hundred dollars ($800.00)
      (2)   There shall be an additional charge of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) for all burials which occur after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays or which occur at any time on a Saturday, Sunday, or on a national holiday.
      (3)   No burials shall take place on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and Memorial Day.
   (E)   The fee for opening and closing a grave for the interment of cremated remains shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00). The fee for opening and closing a columbarium niche for interment of cremated remains shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00).
   (F)   All services at the cemetery shall be held in the pavilion unless there is a specific request from the family of the deceased that a graveside service be held. If a graveside service is to be held, the funeral director shall be responsible for making all arrangements and for paying any additional costs which would not be incurred by the city if the service were held in the pavilion, including but not limited to erecting and removing any tent that may be required.
