§ 53.43 MAIN EXTENSIONS.
   (A)   Whenever service is to be provided to a customer, the water utility main shall be extended across the full length of the addressed side of the customer's property. In the case of a corner lot with an extension originating from the non-addressed side of the property, the requirement to extend across the full length of the addressed side of the property will require that the extension be constructed across the full length of both the non-addressed side and the addressed side of the property. All costs associated with the construction of the water utility main shall be paid by the customer.
   (B)   All mainline water mains whether public or private shall be a minimum of eight inches in diameter, except dead-end mainline water mains serving permanent residential cul-de-sacs a maximum of 400 feet in length and with a maximum of 12 equivalent dwelling units may be six inches in diameter. Domestic service connections shall be sized as prescribed by the water utility. It shall be the customer's responsibility to coordinate sizing of each extension and connection with the water utility.
