The City Judge shall be elected at the city election each year that the city elections are held, in accordance with the provisions of law now or hereafter in effect, for a term as provided by law, and such judge shall exercise the powers and duties of such office as provided for under Chapter 129 of the Acts of the Indiana General Assembly of 1905, as such law has been amended and supplemented.
