§ 156.64 INSPECTION WARRANT.
   (A)   Upon notification that a rental unit has not obtained the necessary registration receipt, the Building Inspector may inspect such premises upon 24 hour notification to the owner of the property for the purpose of determining if any inspection certificate is required. If access cannot be obtained, the inspection officer may obtain an inspection warrant pursuant to the provisions of I.C. 36-7-9-16.
   (B)   Nothing in division (A) of this section should be construed to require an investigation by the Building Inspector or any city employee prior to the city filing a complaint against the owner of real estate who fails to obtain a required registration receipt
