§ 155.081 COMPACTION TESTING.
   Field density tests may be required by the city, made by an independent testing agency hired by the owner/developer. The procedure for determining maximum dry density for compaction monitoring shall be in accordance with ASTM D698 (Standard Proctor). Unless specifically authorized by the DOE in writing, in-place compaction shall be no less than 98% of the laboratory determined maximum dry density. All testing shall be in accordance with INDOT Standard Specifications. The number of tests shall be in accordance with the INDOT Frequency Manual. Results of density tests, including the location and elevation of each test, shall be submitted to the DOE.
