This work shall consist of installing an INDOT 401/402 surface course of compacted asphalt concrete material installed on a prepared base/intermediate course of bituminous asphalt concrete. Before the surface course is installed, the surface of the bituminous base shall be repaired as necessary, cleaned with a power broom or washed, and brought to the proper cross-section grades.
