§ 153.021  PLAT REQUIRED.
   (A)   Approval. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation having control of any land within the city to subdivide or lay out such land in lots unless by a plat in accordance with regulations and procedures set forth in this chapter. No plat shall be recorded and no lot shall be sold from the plat unless the plat has first been approved by the Plan Commission.

If this representative is satisfied that the proposed division is not contrary to applicable platting, subdividing, or zoning regulations, he or she shall within seven working days after submission of such proposed division approve the same, and, on presentation of a conveyance (deed) of the parcel, stamp the same "Approved by Lawrenceburg Plan Commission, no subdivision plat required." The representative shall require the submission of a parcel cut-up plat prepared by a Land Surveyor registered in the State of Indiana and such other information as is pertinent to his or her determination herein under.
