§ 72.17 PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES.
   It shall be unlawful for any trucks licensed for over 7,000 pounds, construction equipment, or commercial vehicles to be parked or left standing upon the public streets except for the purpose of loading and unloading such vehicles, and then only for periods not exceeding two hours. Owners or operators of any such vehicles desiring to park for a longer period than two hours for purposes of loading and unloading shall obtain a written permit for so doing from the Chief of Police for which permit no charge shall be made. Trucks while being loaded and unloaded shall, whenever possible, be kept parallel with the curb and at all times shall be kept as close to the right-hand curb as possible.
