§ 50.05 REMOVAL OF MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITY FROM JURISDICTION OF THE INDIANA UTILITY REGULATORY COMMISSION.
   (A)   The City Council determines that the public interest requires the city to remove itself from the jurisdiction of the Commission for purposes of approval of rates and charges and the issuance of bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness with respect to the city electric utility.
   (B)   Pursuant to I.C. 8-1.5-3-9.1, the city hereby removes its electric utility from the jurisdiction of the Commission for purposes of approval of rates and charges and of the issuance of bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness.
