This chapter is not intended to promote the operation of golf carts on city streets. Lawrenceburg does not recommend or even endorse the operation of golf carts on its streets. However, many of the citizens of Lawrenceburg want to operate golf carts on city streets. All persons operating golf carts must be attentive to the safety of themselves and others, including passengers, other motorist, bicyclist, and pedestrians. All persons who operate or ride golf carts on city streets do so at their own risk. Lawrenceburg assumes no liability for the operation of golf carts within the city upon this chapter.
