§ 2-1-1-11.  PLANS TO ACCOMPANY APPLICATION FOR PERMIT.
   (A)   Except where determined by the Building Commissioner to be unnecessary, each application for a permit shall be accompanied by two sets of plans and specifications which shall be drawn to scale and shall be of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of the work proposed and shall show in detail that it will conform to the provisions of this chapter and all relevant laws, ordinances, rules, standards and codes.  The first page of each set of plans shall include the legal description of the property and give the house and street address of the work and the name and address of the owner and the person who prepared them.  The plans shall include a plot plan showing the location of the proposed building and of every building on the property.
   (B)   All plans for building construction under the authority of the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission of the State of Indiana must also be filed with the State Building Commissioner.  No local permits shall be issued for the work until a copy of a Release for Construction from the State Building Commissioner is received by the Lawrence Building Commissioner.
