§ 3-5-2-1. REAFFIRMATION OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND ZONING ORDINANCE APPLICABLE TO MARION COUNTY.
   Zoning matters before the Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals and the Common Council shall be governed by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Indianapolis, codified in the Revised Code of the Consolidated City of Indianapolis (Ord. No. 64, 2015, § 1(Exhibit), passed September 28, 2015, effective April 1, 2016) and hereby reaffirmed as adopted from at Title III as follows:
   (A)   Zoning ordinance, zoning districts, use and use specific standards, and development standards. Chapter 740, Articles I through VI, Sections 101 through 603, Articles VII through IX, Sections 801 through 1008, and Chapters 742, 743 and 744. The Lawrence planning staff shall interpret and enforce such provisions, and the Lawrence Plan Commission and Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals shall apply and enforce such provisions for the City, consistent with Lawrence's jurisdiction under I.C. 36-7-4-201(d) and establishment of the Lawrence Plan Commission under the advisory planning law.
   (B)   Zoning maps. Article 1, Chapter 740, Section 103. The zoning maps, as the same may have been amended from time to time and which prior to this date applied to the areas within Lawrence's jurisdiction, are hereby reaffirmed as adopted for Lawrence. The Lawrence planning staff shall interpret and enforce such provisions of the Lawrence Zoning Maps, and the Lawrence Plan Commission and Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals shall apply and enforce such maps for the City, consistent with Lawrence's jurisdiction under I.C. 36-7-4-201(d) and establishment of the Lawrence Plan Commission under the advisory planning law.
   (C)   Subdivision Control Ordinance. Chapter 741. The Subdivision Control Ordinance, as the same may have been amended from time to time, and which prior to this date applied to the areas within Lawrence's jurisdiction, is hereby reaffirmed as adopted for Lawrence. The Lawrence planning staff shall interpret and enforce such provisions of the Lawrence Subdivision Control Ordinance, and the Lawrence Plan Commission and Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals shall apply and enforce such provisions for the City consistent with Lawrence's jurisdiction under I.C. 36-7-4-201(d) and establishment of the Lawrence Plan Commission under the advisory planning law.
   (D)   Planning and zoning documents and materials. Until such time as the Lawrence planning staff, Lawrence Plan Commission, or Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals, as the case may be, adopts new applications, forms, permits, fees, rules, procedures, or other similar planning and zoning documents and materials necessary or appropriate for the exercise of planning and zoning functions, the materials utilized for the same functions before the Metropolitan Plan Commission previously hereto applicable to Lawrence's participation therein shall be in effect and may be utilized by the applicable Lawrence agency, body, commission, or other interested person or party.
   (E)   Interpretation consistent with establishment of advisory planning. The use of the terms "County," "Marion County," "Area Plan Commission," "Board of Zoning Appeals," "Director," and other similar terms referencing Marion County or the Indianapolis-Marion County Department of Metropolitan Development in any applicable ordinance, regulation, or planning and zoning document or material, including but not limited to the ordinances and materials specifically referenced in this chapter, shall instead be interpreted to reference or refer to "Lawrence," "Lawrence Plan Commission," "Lawrence Board of Zoning Appeals," "Lawrence Planning Director," or other similar Lawrence office, agency, board, commission, or authority, where necessary or appropriate in furtherance of Lawrence's jurisdiction under I.C. 36-7-4-201(d) and establishment of the Lawrence Plan Commission under the advisory planning law.
