(A) The taxicab business license shall be posted in a conspicuous place within the licensed premises. In addition, each taxicab shall be issued a separate taxicab license which shall be posted in a conspicuous place within the taxicab and visible to the occupants.
(B) Taxicab business licenses are non-transferable.
(C) Individual taxicab licenses may be transferred by the owner to another taxicab owned by the same business, but only if the taxicab originally licensed is permanently retired from service.
(D) Taxicab transfer licenses may be obtained by turning in the old taxicab license and paying a $5 transfer fee to the City Controller.
(E) Transferred licenses shall bear the same expiration date as that of the original license.
(F) All license fees shall be paid prior to the licenses being issued and are non-refundable.
