§ 4-1-2-2. FEES; DURATION.
   (A)   For each permit issued to each person to sell or offer for sale goods of any type to be offered in any manner prescribed by § 4-1-2-1, there shall be paid to the City Controller the sum of $50 for the permit issued.
   (B)   Each permit shall be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
   (C)   Holders of permits granted by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, as defined in I.C. § 8-1-34-6, shall be considered to have met the requirements of this section for obtaining a permit and no further payments or permits shall be required. These holders are still required to comply with § 4-1-2-5 herein.
   (D)   Those peddlers working on behalf of a not-for-profit corporation may provide evidence of non-profit status to the Controller and have the aforementioned fee waived.
   (E)   Canvassers are not required to obtain a permit, but are encouraged to do so to reassure city residents of their good faith.
   (F)   Permits are non-transferable and may only be used by the original individual applicant.
