Whenever in this code it is required that any person, firm or corporation obtain a license or permit from the Department of Public Works prior to engaging in any type of activity or business enterprise that is regulated or licensed by the City of Lawrence, the person, firm or corporation shall comply with the provisions of this chapter as well as the provisions of any other chapter of this code applicable to the activity or business enterprise.
