(A) Whenever the City of Lawrence Fire Department responds to any fire alarm, medical alarm or emergency telephone call at a residence, business, premises or building more than three times in a annual calendar period due to improper alarm installation, lack of maintenance, servicing, employee and/or occupant failure or false reporting, a service charge shall be imposed.
(B) For a fourth response, the service charge will be $50. For a fifth response, the service charge shall be $75. For sixth and subsequent responses the service charge shall be $100 per each response.
(C) Such service charges shall be made payable to the City of Lawrence.
