§ 3-4-5-3. CONSUMER FIREWORKS; TIMES OF USE.
   (A)   Consumer fireworks, as defined by I.C. 22-11-14-1, may be used within the corporate limits of the City of Lawrence only between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and two hours after sunset on June 29, June 30, July 1, July 2, July 3, July 5, July 6, July 7, July 8, and July 9; between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight on July 4; and between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on December 31 and 1:00 a.m. on January 1. The use of consumer fireworks within the corporate limits of the City of Lawrence is prohibited at all other times.
   (B)   Violation of the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine of up to $100 for a first offense and up to $250 for a second or subsequent offense.
