(A) Any person who supervises, manages or directs the installation, retrofitting, removal or closure of underground storage tanks shall notify the City of Lawrence Fire Department 14 days prior to commencement of work; however, this requirement shall not apply in emergency repair work where 14-day notification is not possible.
(B) All applicable permits and notification shall be made to the State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management prior to removing or closing underground storage tanks and all associated piping.
