Whenever a duly authorized inspector for the City of Lawrence Fire Department’s Fire Prevention Bureau determines by inspection that a violation of this code or a hazardous condition exists upon any premises within the bureau’s jurisdiction, the person making this determination shall issue such orders as may be necessary for the protection of the environment and persons and property from fire and explosion.
