§ 3-3-9-2. OPERATION.
   Each smoke detector shall detect abnormal quantities of smoke that may occur in a dwelling unit and shall properly operate in the normal environmental conditions of a dwelling unit in compliance with Underwriter Laboratories, Inc. standards.
