(A) The fee for a one-year alarm system permit shall be $25.
(B) The fee for a five-year alarm system permit shall be $100.
(C) The fee for a ten-year alarm system permit shall be $175.
(D) An alarm system permit issued pursuant to this chapter shall be valid for the life of the purchased permit commencing from the date of issuance.
(E) An alarm system permit issued pursuant to this chapter shall be personal to the permit holder for a specific location and is not transferable.
(F) Lawrence residents over the age of 65 will receive a 20% discount on any alarm permit pursuant to this chapter. Proof of residence and age is required.
(G) An alarm system permit issued pursuant to this chapter may be suspended or revoked by the City of Lawrence for failure to comply with the conditions and procedures established by this chapter.
