§ 3-3-1-23. DESTRUCTION OF WOUNDED OR DANGEROUS ANIMALS.
   (A)   The Humane Officer, Animal Control Officer or any police officer is hereby authorized to destroy any animal found to be severely wounded within the City, if the owner or keeper of the animal is unknown or cannot be located.
   (B)   The Humane Officer, Animal Control Officer or any police officer is hereby authorized to destroy any animal which is found running at large and which animal is vicious and poses a threat to the safety of any person within the City.
   (C)   The owner of the animal shall be liable for all costs associated with its pickup, destruction and disposal.
