The City of Lawrence Police Department shall charge a fee of $15 for the taking of fingerprints at the request of and for the benefit of any private person, excepting fingerprints taken pursuant to the issuance of a handgun permit, which monies so collected shall be deposited into the general fund of the City of Lawrence.
