(A) The Chief of Police may prescribe the rules, regulations and general and special orders for the operation of the Department as he or she shall deem advisable, subject to the approval of the Board of Public Works and Safety.
(B) The rules, regulations and general and special orders, when properly adopted and approved, shall be binding on all members and employees of the Department.
(C) The rules, regulations and general and special orders may include provisions prescribing or regulating:
(1) Conduct of members and employees;
(2) Uniform and equipment to be worn or carried;
(3) Hours of service;
(4) Vacations; and
(5) Any other matters necessary or desirable for the efficient operation of the Department.
