(A) As provided in §§ 3-1-3.5-1 et seq., a member of the Fire Department holds office or grade until he or she is dismissed or demoted by the Fire Merit Commission.
(B) A member may be disciplined by reprimand, demotion, suspension, dismissal or otherwise as provided by § 3-1-3.5-9 and § 3-1-3.5-11.
