(A) The Common Council shall hold its first regular meeting at a time set by the Council in January after its election. The meeting place shall be in the Public Assembly Hall of the government building for the City of Lawrence, 9001 East 59th Street, Lawrence, Indiana, unless designated otherwise by resolution of the Common Council.
(B) A majority of the elected members of the Common Council constitutes a quorum. A quorum is necessary to transact business.
