12-2-1: DESIGNATION OF THE FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR:

The LaVerkin City zoning official is hereby appointed the floodplain administrator to administer and implement the provisions of this title and other appropriate sections of 44 CFR (national flood insurance program regulations) pertaining to floodplain management, in coordination with the city's police chief (who serves as emergency coordinator of the city).
