A. The owner will set construction stakes establishing lines and grades for roadwork, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, structures and centerlines for utilities and necessary appurtenances as may be deemed necessary. In the event that the owner is anyone other than a public body (i.e., the developer), the city shall have the right to approve the independent laboratory, and the costs shall be borne by that owner or developer. The LaVerkin City representative (or the developer in the event that the owner is anyone other than a public body) will furnish the contractor all necessary information relating to the lines and grades. These stakes and marks shall constitute the field control by and in accordance with which the contractor shall establish other necessary controls and perform the work.
B. The contractor shall perform the work in accordance with the entity responsible for the improvement's stakes and marks, and shall be charged with full responsibility for conformity and agreement of the work with such stakes and marks. (Ord. 2006-22, 7-5-2006; amd. Ord. 2007-24, 8-15-2007)
