5-1-8: KILLING OF DOG AUTHORIZED:
   A.   Any person, including an animal control officer, may injure or kill a dog while:
      1.   The dog is attacking, chasing or worrying domestic fowls, other domestic animals having a commercial value, a service animal, or any species of hoofed protected wildlife, or
      2.   The dog is being pursued for having committed any act described in subparagraph 1 above. (Ord. 2024-15, 8-7-2024)
