The position of chief of the fire department shall be classified as prescribed in the city's agreement for fire protection services with the city of Hurricane, Utah, or as subsequently changed or amended by the city council and determined by contract. The chief of the fire department shall receive compensation at the rate and in a form prescribed in the city's agreement for fire protection services with the city of Hurricane, Utah, or as subsequently changed or amended by the city council and determined by contract.
