6-4-15: PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO REMOVE BOOT/IMMOBILIZATION DEVICE:
If the owner and/or operator of a motor vehicle and/or person in control of a trailer which has been immobilized by a boot/immobilization device for longer than forty-eight (48) hours fails to meet the requirements to remove the boot, pursuant to section 6-4-14, said motor vehicle and/or trailer may be towed and impounded at the request of the City Code Enforcement Officer with the costs thereof assessed against the owner and/or operator of the motor vehicle and/or person in control of the trailer. This penalty shall be in addition to any fee(s) for parking violation notice(s) which may have been issued. (Ord. 2020-2, 8-13-2020)
