6-4-12: BOOTING/IMMOBILIZATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAILERS:
A motor vehicle or trailer shall be subject to booting/immobilization in the event the City Code Enforcement Officer observes the motor vehicle or trailer to be illegally parked on a City street or alley. For the purposes of this chapter, a boot is a device which is placed on a motor vehicle's tire or wheel to prevent or discourage vehicular movement which may be attached to or removed from a motor vehicle or trailer only by an authorized employee of the City of Lava Hot Springs. In addition to placing a boot on a motor vehicle and/or trailer tire, the City Code Enforcement Officer shall also attach a sticker to the driver's side window of the motor vehicle or on a conspicuous place on the trailer to alert the owner or operator or person in control that the motor vehicle and/or trailer has been immobilized.
