6-4-8: USE OF ON AND OFF STREET PARKING FOR PURPOSES OTHER THAN VEHICLE PARKING PROHIBITED:
   A.   It shall be a violation of this Parking Code for any person to occupy or any person or business to permit a person to occupy any City on-street parking space for a purpose other than motor vehicle parking without express authorization by the City Council in the form of a business license expressly authorizing the use of City on-street parking spaces for any purpose other than motor vehicle parking, including but not limited to storage, operation of a business, seating for food or beverage service, changing facilities, portable toilet facilities, or other such uses.
   B.   It shall be a violation of this Parking Code for any person to occupy or any person or business to permit a person to occupy any private off-street parking space which has been designated for use by customers of a business as a condition for the issuance of a business license or certificate of occupancy for any purpose other than off-street motor vehicle parking without the express authorization by the City Council in the form of a business license or certificate of occupancy expressly authorizing such use.
   C.   It shall be a violation of this Parking Code for any person to use more than a single City on-street parking space or single off-street parking space for the parking of a single motor vehicle alone or in combination with a vehicle or trailer being towed by the motor vehicle.
   D.   It shall be a violation of this Parking Code for any person to use more than a single City on-street parking space or single off-street parking space for the parking of a trailer of any kind. (Ord. 2020-2, 8-13-2020)
