A. If recreational motor vehicles are provided as part of the business, the applicant shall, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, provide the following: (1) Identify the number, make and model of recreational motor vehicles which will be used in the business; (2) Proof that the recreation motor vehicles are properly registered and licensed if required by the laws of the State of Idaho; and (3) Proof of insurance showing that each recreational motor vehicle is insured with a minimum limit of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) per occurrence, and one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) total aggregate liability for bodily injury and property damage caused by the operation of said recreational motor vehicles naming the City as an additional named insured.
B. If the business consists of a rental unit or bed and breakfast or vacation rental or tourist home, the applicant shall, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, provide the following: (1) The address and the zoning ordinance zone in which the rental unit or bed and breakfast or vacation rental or tourist home is located; (2) Information identifying the number of bedrooms, restrictions on the number of occupants and how occupant restrictions will be enforced; (3) Information identifying limitations on activities, noise, light and/or other uses by renters which could disturb occupants of nearby properties and how such activity/use restrictions will be enforced; and (4) If the application is for the first new business license for a rental unit or bed and breakfast or vacation rental or tourist home, the applicant shall provide evidence acceptable to the City Clerk and/or the City Council of an inspection within the last sixty (60) days by a building inspector and the City fire chief showing that the rental unit or bed and breakfast or vacation rental or tourist home is in compliance with applicable building and fire codes.
C. If the business consists of a bed and breakfast, the applicant shall, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, provide the following: The name of the owner or manager who will be residing on site with contact information. If the name of the owner or manager who will be residing on site changes while the license is in force, the business must notify the City Clerk within seventy-two (72) hours of the change. Current contact information, including a working phone number, for the owner and manager shall be prominently displayed on a sign located near the entrance of the bed and breakfast and visible from the street nearest the entrance.
D. If the business consists of a person or entity operating a vehicle for hire or a vehicle transporting the public in conjunction with any business being operated by the business, the applicant shall, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, provide the following: (1) Proof of liability insurance for said operation in a minimum sum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) per occurrence, and one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) total aggregate liability for bodily injury and property damage caused by the operation of said recreational motor vehicles naming the City as an additional named insured.
E. If the business consists of providing the services of a "contractor" required to register pursuant to the Idaho Contractor Registration Act, Title 54, Chapter 52, Idaho Code, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall provide the following: A copy of their current contractor registration certificate and registration number.
F. Any owner who acts as his/her own general contractor and contracts for work to be performed by subcontractors on property owned or leased by the owner shall be required to obtain a business license and must provide proof that the subcontractors to be used on the project are registered in accordance with the requirements of the Idaho Contractor Registration Act, Title 54, Chapter 52, Idaho Code. A copy of their current contractor registration certificate and registration number for each subcontractor shall be included with the application.
G. Any person who provides service, repair and maintenance of equipment and appliances shall obtain a business license before providing service, repair or maintenance of equipment and appliances in the City.
H. If the business is a food establishment as defined in the Idaho Food Code, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall provide a current and valid "food establishment license" issued by the Southeastern Idaho Public Health Department.
I. If the business involves the sale or dispensement of alcoholic liquor, including liquor, beer and wine, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall provide current and valid applicable state, county and City licenses for the business activity proposed to be conducted by the applicant.
J. If the business will be conducted in a temporary and/or non-permanent business location, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall submit the following: (1) a photograph or drawing of the business location showing that any structure will be set back no less than five feet (5') from any and all property lines of the property on which it will be located and will include weather protection which prevents water from dripping or snow from sliding onto areas where pedestrians gather and circulate or onto adjacent properties; and (2) provisions for garbage storage on-site and a plan for regular garbage removal.
K. If the business involves the rental of river float tubes, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall submit the following: (1) proposed arrangements for dressing room facilities for customers; and (2) proposed arrangements for restroom facilities for customers.
L. If the business involves transportation of people, in addition to any other information required in the application for a business license, the applicant shall submit the following: (1) the type of vehicle, trailer or method of conveyance that will be used to transport people; (2) the maximum number of passengers on/in each vehicle, trailer or other method of conveyance; (3) precautions which will be enforced to protect passengers from injury while being transported; and (4) how maximum passenger limits will be enforced.
