The building official or his or her designee may grant building permits, in accordance with this chapter. No work, including site preparation, excavation or development of driveway approach may be commenced and no buildings may be demolished, constructed, moved or placed prior to obtaining a permit. No permit shall be granted unless the work applied for is in conformance with the codes set forth herein. (Ord. 2016-2, 5-12-2016)
