The Lava Hot Springs City Fire Chief and/or the Mayor or City Council may declare a moratorium on burning, which moratorium shall revoke any permit issued under this chapter for such period of time as in the sole discretion of the Lava Hot Springs City Fire Chief and/or the Mayor or City Council is deemed necessary to avoid increased fire hazards due to hazardous conditions. At the discretion of the Lava Hot Springs Fire Chief and/or Mayor or City Council, non-permitted recreational fires may be included in an issued burning moratorium. Such moratorium when issued will be posted at Lava Hot Springs City Hall and other sites where official public notices are customarily posted. (Ord. 2017-5, 2-8-2018)
