Commencing January 1, 2014, the salaries of the mayor and the members of the Lava Hot Springs city council shall be as follows:
A. Mayor: The mayor of Lava Hot Springs shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of six hundred dollars ($600.00).
B. Council Member: Each member of the council shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
C. Acting Mayor: Whenever any member of the council assumes the office of mayor during his/her absence, such council member shall receive an additional three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) per month while so acting. (Ord. 2013-2, 8-16-2013)
