This chapter shall be known as the “Town of Laurel Park Garbage Collection and Disposal Ordinance”. It shall apply to the preparation, collection, transportation and disposal of all garbage and other refuse within the limits of the town, as presently or hereafter established. It shall prescribe rules and regulations therefor; assign responsibility; define terms; regulate the private collection of garbage and other refuse; prescribe rules and regulations for hauling garbage and other refuse materials within or through the town; prohibit the deposit of litter on town streets, vacant property or on the property owned or occupied by others; and provide penalties for violations of such rules and regulations.
