§ 50.22 WATER METER MALFUNCTION.
   At the resident’s request, the town will have a water meter checked if the resident believes that his or her meter is malfunctioning. If it is determined the water meter is not working properly, the resident will receive a new meter installed at no charge. If the meter is deemed 100% accurate, the resident will be responsible for a $50 charge for the test, which will be added to his or her next water bill; the meter will be re-installed.
