§ 152.01 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.
    The Legislature of the State of North Carolina has in G.S. Ch. 143, Art. 21, Part 6; Ch. 153A, Art. 6; Ch. 160A, Art. 8; and Ch. 160D, Art. 7, 9 and 11, delegated to local governmental units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare.
