§ 92.04 WEDDING CEREMONIES/SPECIAL EVENTS WITHIN TOWN PARKS.
   (A)   The town requires a permit, issued from Town Hall, prior to the use of town parks for wedding ceremonies or special events.
   (B)   The following guidelines apply to wedding ceremonies/special events.
      (1)   The permit must be completed and approved ten days prior to the requested date of use.
      (2)   Weddings/special events are limited to four hours.
      (3)   Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. No glass containers are permitted.
      (4)   No alcoholic beverages are permitted.
      (5)   Music or noise, in a manner as to disturb the peace of others inside or outside the park, is prohibited.
      (6)   No horn blowing is permitted for wedding ceremonies/special events.
      (7)   The park can not be closed or blocked off from the general public.
      (8)   Individuals/groups are responsible for clean up of the area used prior to leaving.
      (9)   No tents/arbors are permitted at town parks without written permission granted by the Town Manager or his or her designee. Tents and arbors shall not exceed 20 feet by 20 feet.
      (10)   No vehicles or horse-drawn carts are permitted past parking areas.
      (11)   Candles and other open flames are prohibited in the park except for small birthday candles. Floating lanterns are prohibited. Open fires and fireworks are prohibited on park grounds except as specifically authorized by the Town Council. Cooking or grilling is permitted only in provided grills, and the grills are for charcoal use only.
      (12)   Special consideration: parking is limited at all town parks and must be a consideration for wedding ceremonies/special events.
      (13)   After-hour permits may be granted by the Town Manager or his or her designee.
